Supermajority Guide to Civic Wellness
Supermajority came to us with one mission: to activate voters in the midterm election — particularly young women and nonbinary communities — by reframing the concept of voting as an act of self-care. Rather than a traditional political campaign, we decided to harness the language, visuals, and trends of contemporary wellness culture, even introducing parody wellness “products” that elevated the importance of voting.
My challenge, as lead designer behind this work, was to shape this concept, overseeing both the creative direction and the visual design to spark engagement and conversation in a fresh, unexpected way.
I was fascinated by the idea of recontextualizing voting as an act of “political self-care” that felt personal and relevant to millennials and Gen Z. I leaned into the soothing aesthetics of wellness culture — pastels, minimalist design, and playful messaging — creating parody products like “Vote-amin Supplements” and “Democracy Detox Tea” to bring humor and accessibility to the concept.
From designing shareable social media content to mock product packaging, my goal was to make civic engagement feel not just important, but empowering and deeply relatable.

The campaign’s success lay in its ability to communicate sincerity through humor: by framing voting as a personal act of care, we tapped into everyday mindsets while respecting the urgency of political participation.
The result was a novel, visually cohesive campaign that made civic engagement feel not only accessible, but personally rewarding — . a breath of fresh air in a crowded political landscape.
